About Dr. Krol
Kornelia Krol, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN offering her expert care at Women for Women OBGYN, SC in Forest Glen of Chicago. She also teaches medical students at the affiliated University of Illinois and Chicago Medical School. Dr. Krol was born in Poland, where she graduated from medical school. She completed a specialization in obstetrics and gynecology at the Belgrade Medical University in Yugoslavia. working there as faculty.
After immigrating to the United States, she entered a pathology training program at the University of Illinois, Chicago, followed by OB/GYN residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield and earned OB-GYN Board certification. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and recipient of numerous professional and teaching awards.
Active in local, national, and international medical societies, Dr. Krol also devotes countless hours to charitable causes benefiting the Polish community in Chicago. She serves women of all ethnicities and by speaking three languages (English, Polish, and Serbo-Croatian) she is especially popular among women of Slavic origin. Her dedicated staff is also multi-lingual.
